Application for the office of Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Vienna

Dear Pope Francis,

Pope Benedict XVI created me on November 20, 2010 for Cardinale in pectore. This year marks the eleventh anniversary of this historic event. In the conclave on March 12, 2013 I got four votes if this assumption is correct. I have been closely associated with the Roman Catholic Church since 2006. Since 2008 I have been pursuing my project of "Eucharistic Ecumenism" (www.eucharistia.info) and have received a lot of approval for it. Since this year I have two websites "Pro Popess" and "Sophia Modern". On "Pro Popess" (www.popess.info) I want to show the possibility that one day, in the not too distant future, a woman can become Pope. On "Sophia Modern" (www.sophiamodern.com) I would like to describe what the "government program" of a future Pope could look like.

Today I would like to thank you for your loyalty and support of my work and myself. I have had a very good time in the Roman Catholic Church for the past eight years and I feel that I am taken seriously, recognized and accepted. I think it's a question of whether I'm a member of the Roman Catholic Church, since Pope Benedict XVI. created for the Cardinale in pectore. The office of a cardinal does not exist in any of the Protestant churches. This leads to the conclusion that I have been a member of the Roman Catholic Church since November 20, 2010. At the same time, since July 1, 2000, I have been a pastor, currently without an official assignment, of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria. Since May 21, 1995, I have had all the rights of my ordination, which took place in the Apostolic Succession.

Today I would like to apply to you for the office of archbishop in Vienna and ask for your approval and your support.

I am willing to relinquish or relinquish my ordination rights upon the announcement of an appointment. I am also willing, if you wish and if it is necessary, to leave the Evangelical Lutheran Church. However, the last step would be very difficult for me and I believe that as a member of both churches I can have a much more beneficial and fruitful effect.

Dear Pope Francis, please consider my candidacy for the Archdiocese of Vienna to succeed Cardinal Christoph Schönborn.

Kind regards,

Elke Göß
