Nathalie Becquart, Undersecretary Of The World Synod, Is On The Forbes List As One Of The World's 50 Most Influential Women. It's Not Her. Open Letter To Pope Francis

Dear Pope Francis,

I watched the program "Rome Reports" on K-TV today, which was broadcast from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Through a text message I learned that the Undersecretary of the World Synod, Sister Nathalie Becquart, was chosen by the US business magazine Forbes as one of the 50 most influential women in the world who exercise power over the age of 50.

An article with similar content can be found here: Magazin Forbes zählt Natalie Becquart zu den einflussreichsten Frauen der Welt – kath.ch

I feel deeply insulted, slandered and mocked. I would like to talk so much and so briefly about my feelings.

1. I call on you to celebrate the life achievements of your predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI., who died a year ago, not to further diminish it and misuse it for your own purposes.

2. I request that you give me due respect. I call on you to stand up for my rights unambiguously and clearly and to finally make my rights real and true.

Regarding 1. Pope Benedict XVI. appointed me Cardinale in pectore on November 20, 2010.(1) This puts me far above an “undersecretary”! When you appointed Sister Nathalie Becquart as Undersecretary in February 2021, I had already been Cardinale in pectore for ten years and three months. I only became Cardinale "in pectore" because there have been over six murder attempts on me in Italy and Germany since 2004. I myself count over ten attempted murders, ten of which were confirmed by the police in Bayreuth in 2011. My life is so endangered in the two EU states Italy and Germany, which are still predominantly Christian, that I could die from acts of violence. In addition, in both countries there was not a single case where the perpetrators were prosecuted. On January 4, 2023, the former number one of the Cosa Nostra, Matteo Messina Denaro, who died on September 25, 2023, told me during a conversation on Roman street Cola di Rienzo, a few meters from the Vatican, that he prevented that I should become a victim of femicide. His sisters and his brother, who are incarcerated in the high security prison in L'Aquila, can be questioned about this statement.

The fact that I have been the victim of attempted murder more than six times since 2004 was officially confirmed in a trial in special public interest before the Regensburg Regional Court on February 7, 2023 (file number 7 KLs 112 Js 27021/19).

Regarding 2. a) I received four votes in the conclave on March 12, 2013. You emerged from this conclave as pope a day later. You were present in the Sistine Chapel when my name was mentioned four times.

In the trial in a special public interest before the Regensburg Regional Court on February 7, 2023, the public prosecutor said that it was confirmed that I received four votes in the conclave (file number 7 KLs 112 Js 27021/19). This confirmation can only have been made by a representative of the Roman Catholic Church.

At the time of the conclave on March 12, 2013, I was 47 years old! Nathalie Becquart was 52 years old when she was appointed Undersecretary of the World Synod.

Four votes in the conclave are clearly more important than an appointment as “under-secretary”! Finally admit that I got four votes in the conclave, Pope Francis!

Regarding 2. b) I was severely mistreated by six Vatican gendarmes in the rooms of the Vatican gendarmerie between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008. Ten physical injuries were inflicted on me. As a result, I was unable to complete my second study in social sciences at the Humboldt University in Berlin. I had the chance to become a professor. Instead, I became disabled because I couldn't even hold a spoon after the abuse. I had a full year of physical therapy for both shoulders. In 2017, as a result of the abuse I suffered during knee surgery, I had a full prosthesis inserted. I then received a full year of physical therapy. There will certainly be another knee operation on the other knee. There are also medical estimates that I will have at least one more operation ahead of me. Since 2008, not a year has gone by without me seeing an orthopedist.

As a result of the ten physical injuries, I lost my health, my job, my home and my family. It's only been since I moved to Regensburg in 2015 that I've been able to consolidate again.

There was no legal punishment for the physical injuries. It would have been the task of the German Embassy accredited to the Vatican or the Foreign Ministry under Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier (SPD), current Federal President, to stand up for my rights and file a criminal complaint. This was not done. After many years of severe psychological suffering and after the knee operation, which I perceived as a serious interference with my physical integrity, I filed a criminal complaint with the Roman prefecture on August 30, 2017 and with the police in Regensburg on August 31, 2017 . The responsible public prosecutor Dr. Christine Müller, who earned her doctorate in Protestant canon law and is now head of the Regensburg public prosecutor's office, processed my criminal complaint in September 2017. She deleted eight out of ten physical injuries and classified the violent act as “rape”. As a result, it increased the statute of limitations from ten to twenty years. This now leads to a doubling of the psychological stress, as I have to remember the ten acts of violence against my body over twenty years in order to describe them in a court case if necessary. Since the criminal complaint was lodged six years and five months ago with the Roman prefecture and the Regensburg police, nothing further has happened legally.

You, Pope Francis, have not supported the legal prosecution of the massive physical injuries inflicted on me for a single moment in your almost eleven-year term as Pope!

I had to pay all the hospital, doctor and physical therapist bills myself. I also had to say goodbye to the idea of becoming a professor. The bills paid, the compensation for pain and suffering, the compensation for loss of earnings, etc. are estimated to amount to 60,000 euros so far. This does not include the costs for the operations, medical treatments, physiotherapy treatments, etc. that I will have to undergo. When, Pope Francis, do you plan to pay for the financial damages caused to me?

What has been described so far is based on verifiable facts.

I would now like to make a conjecture. Could it be that Pope Benedict XVI. before his death decreed that I be canonized? Could it be that I as a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria (without a commission) and as Cardinale in pectore was beatifed by Pope Benedict XVI. and might it be that I was canonized? Would a Protestant pastor, canonized as a living person by a pope, be more important, influential and powerful than an undersecretary? Who is the successor to Pope Benedict XVI? and who could have canonized me?(1)

If I were Cardinale in pectore (November 20, 2010), if I would have received four votes in the conclave (March 12, 2013) and if I had been canonized (possibly January 5, 2023), I would have these three honours from the Roman Catholic Church all achieved between the ages of 50 and 60. I cannot claim the title of Undersecretary of the World Synod. You know, Pope Francis, that I offered you my participation in the World Synod before the first session in writing a mail to you.

I expect the Roman Catholic Church to follow its own laws and customs. I expect to be given the respect I deserve. Above all, I expect honesty and truth from you and from everyone who belongs to the Roman Catholic Church.

If all of this is as I have described it here, I expect the Vatican press office to correct it at your request. The content of the correction should be to all international media and especially to Forbes that Nathalie Becquart is NOT the most influential woman in the Vatican or in the Roman Catholic Church. PR is a very useful and meaningful field of work within journalism.

(1) In 2011, in the Vatican I was expected to be on the Forbes list.

(2) Matteo Messino Denaro, the former number one of Cosa Nostra, told me at a chance meeting on January 4th, 2023 at the Cola di Rienzo in Rome that I would be canonized “over there,” he pointed to the Vatican, on January 5th, 2023. The funeral of Pope Benedict XVI took place in St. Peter's Square on January 5, 2023. There was a three-minute silence between 10:49 a.m. and 10:51 a.m.
